With her dedication, inspiration and commitment to promote youth education and community outreach, Grace founded the Michigan Youth Empowerment Foundation (mYe).
Grace serves as a Partner at Global Strategic Connections and manages its 3D Technology and Engraving division. With 15+ years of experience in Entrepreneurship and cross-cultural education programs in various countries, Grace now dedicates her talents to foster a nest for young generations to learn, aspire and contribute.
Her Other community activities include: served as a member of St. Jude Children Hospital Fundraising Committee from 2007-2008; currently serving as a Council Member of North American Chinese Society of Automotive Engineers for 2017.
Grace is awarded as a member of the Oakland County Executive’s Elite 40 Under 40 program for 2018. It is an initiative of County Executive L. Brooks Patterson that recognizes and spotlights dynamic leaders under the age of 40 who are making a difference in Oakland County and beyond.

Meng has developed valuable insights into cultural and educational exchange through years of experience at the US Embassy in China and Ford Motor Company.
As a mother of two children, Meng is passionate about empowering youth, seeking opportunities to grow them into independent and interdependent individuals with curious minds. She has been contributing her skills and creativity to local community and schools, including raising funds for schools, building an FTC Robotics team, developing after-school programs, advocating for teachers, and more. She is happy to promote mYe’s youth development mission and have fun along the journey.

Gary Wu brings tremendous experience, both in private sectors & community service, as well as a passion to youth development to mYe.
He served as Chief Researcher Officer at the largest consumer research firm dedicated to the automotive market in China from 2014 to 2016. Gary worked in various functions for General Motors for 13 years, both in Detroit & Shanghai. He also worked in an international trading company for 4 years and a top publishing house for 2 years, both in Beijing.
Gary served as Executive Vice President of Detroit Chinese Business Association from 2002 to 2004. He has coached many youth & young professionals at church since 2012. He was also an English teacher for 2 years.
Gary holds a BA in English from Beijing Foreign Studies University and a MBA from University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. He lives in Bloomfield Hills, MI with his wife and two daughters.
A clinician, a researcher, a teacher, and a mother of 2 bright kids, Dr. Ouyang takes youth STEAM education seriously, and would like to share her passion as well as expertise with kids and parents alike.
Dr. Ouyang provides anesthesia care to a diverse inner city community in a trauma hospital for a number of years. As a researcher, her academic interest is in neuroscience and cognitive development. As a teacher, she believes that cultivating students ‘ autonomy in learning is the key to their academic success. As a mother, she is passionate about raising awareness and building support on educating gifted children.
Dr. Ouyang holds a BS of clinical medicine from Fudan University SOM, a BS of nursing, a MS of Anesthesia, and a PhD of physiology from Wayne State University.
Jing Li shares her vision and passion to youth development of mYe. She is actively supporting mYe’s Community Service program to provide opportunities for youth to contribute their talent and passion to the community.
Jing is a senior Business Analyst of Oracle ERP Application. She was a CPA (Certified Public Accountant) in China. She got her master degree of Computer Engineering in US and has been working as an IT professional since 2000.
Jing actively serves in church, leads children worship and teaches children Sunday school and bible study. She lives in Bloomfield Hills with her husband and two children.
As a professional Software Engineer, Allen Tao develops STEAM courses and manages various IT related activities @ mYe. He is passionate to devote his knowledge and insights to inspire the young generation.
Allen is the Technical Project Manager at Nuance Communications Inc., the largest solution provider on speech recognition and synthesis. He has been working in speech industry for about 7 years. Allen also worked on scientific computation and 3D graph visualization at Autodesk.
He holds a BA in Software Engineering and a ME in Software Engineering Project Management, and he is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and Sun Certified Java Programmer (SCJP). Allen published a book as the first author about Java web Programming in 2009.
A veteran professional in automotive engineering, Ms. Bao has diversified experience of 20+ years in manufacturing, design, research, PDM and management.
As a member of mYe executive committee, Linda is passionate in providing the platform and opportunities to students to develop critical social, communication, and leadership skills from a young age; and an advocate for young female students to excel in STEM subjects.
Ms. Bao has B.S. and M.S. in ME. She speaks English, Chinese and French.
Vivian Dai has a great passion to serve community and help foster young generation. She believes volunteering is a lifestyle.
She served as Software Project Manager and Technical Marketing Engineer in Hewlett-Packard for 7 years. Prior to that, Vivian worked in various 500 companies in Singapore for 7 years.
Vivian holds a B.E in Computer Science from HuaZhong University of Science & Technology, China and M.S of Computer Engineering from National University of Singapore. She received the Stanford Innovation and Entrepreneurship Certificate from the Stanford Graduate School of Business in 2015.
She lives in Rochester, MI with her husband and two 10 years old twin boys.
