2021 Summer – Math4Girls Level 2 (Girls only)
This program is designed for current G4-5 girls who are interested in math and want to enter the world of elementary school level math competitions. It will help girls improve their math problem solving skills and gain more confidence when they study math.
It will include 10 sessions, each 40 mins long with 15-20 minutes of homework. In-class contests with awards (Legos, books, etc.) will be offered to make this class more fun!
- Word problems involving basic use of variables (different ages)
- Angles, Area, Perimeter
- Averages (arithmetic means)
- Fractions, decimals, percents
- Beginner number theory (divisibility)
- Ratios and proportions
- Venn diagrams
- Grade G4-G5

Grace Zhang is a rising 10th grader who loves math and robotics.
She has 5 yrs of math contest experience and has won awards in AMC, MathCounts, MOEMS, MI Math Leagues, MMPC, etc.
She also has 5 yrs of robotics competition experience, and is a qualifier for various world and state-level VRC, VEX IQ, WRO and Robofest robotics competitions.
Joyce Wang is currently 14 years old and in 9th grade. She has taken part in the American Mathematics Contest and is a part of the Utah American Regions Mathematics League. Other than math, she plays piano competitively, and enjoys reading, chess, skiing, and many other activities.
Michelle is a rising 9th grade student. She has attended multiple math competitions, AMC8, AMC10, Mathcount, MathLeague, MMPC during middle school years and ranked top 10% on many of them. She has a broad interest in math and science. She has been student assistant in summer camps to tutor younger students on various topics.
Joyce Fang is a rising 8th grader residing in Maryland. Joyce has competed in multiple math competitions, including MOEMs and Math Kangaroo, and received a certificate of excellence on the national level. In her free time, she enjoys reading, ceramics, teaching her little brother, and browsing the trending page on YouTube.
