Writing is everywhere!

In the future, your child could be a mathematician or a scientist — the seemingly opposite spectrum of literature — but still need the ability to clearly articulate their calculations and research.

Not to mention, writing accomplishes whole brain thinking: an educational philosophy promoted by educational institutions across the world, including world renowned Northwestern University. The activity engages both the left brain (responsible for analytical thinking) and the right brain (our generator for creativity), thus supporting the development of the mind.

Overall, nurturing abilities in writing is particularly pivotal to elementary students. With their minds powered by imagination, elementary children have great capacities for language and literature that need to be exercised to effectively express their thoughts.

Our class will guide students to investigate the qualities of realistic fiction, explore the depths of biographies, build their own worlds in science fiction, and so much more. Students will gain an understanding of good writing and the techniques alongside, while most importantly, having fun
