Intro to Forensics Speech Competition

“Forensics” is a word that may be very unfamiliar because it’s very rarely used outside the context of middle and high school.

This unfamiliarity is precisely why we’re currently trying to encourage parents and kids alike to get involved, starting by introducing it to you! Forensics is a speech club. Some of you may have heard of Forensic science (involving dead bodies), and that’s not what this is.

Students have the opportunity to participate in various “events,” creating original speeches, giving heartfelt presentations of other famous works, or tackling intense debates about a variety of topics. In essence, it’s the place for your child to test how well they can handle themselves in the public sphere.

Colleges are always eager to see applicants that will not shy away from a public setting. In fact, they want leaders and achievers, and forensics will transform your child into both.

The workshop is scheduled for May 15th, 7:30-9 pm EDT.
