The Metro Detroit Youth Fair (MDYF) started as a vision of the Michigan Youth Empowerment Foundation’s Youth Leadership Committee, a group of high school students who want to change the way kids look at their educations and experiences. It is an event created for youth, by youth. Through the Youth Fair, we hope to encourage students to see the world beyond the confines of their classrooms. This event will be a celebration of young people who want to prove to the world that age is not a restriction for success.
This year, the MDYF includes a student and club vendor show, student led workshops, tasty treats from local restaurants, and youth focused local businesses. We are expecting at least a thousand people to attend this event.
